Opiskelijaedustajien haku Helsingin yliopiston hallitukseen on alkanut.
Helsingin yliopiston hallitus on yliopiston ylin päättävä toimielin. Se päättää yliopiston strategiasta, toiminta- ja taloussuunnitelmista, talousarviosta, johtosäännöistä, yliopiston toimintarakenteesta, yliopistoon otettavien uusien opiskelijoiden määristä, vastaa yliopiston varallisuuden hoidosta ja käytöstä, huolehtii kirjanpidon ja varainhoidon valvonnan järjestämisestä, hyväksyy yliopiston tavoitesopimuksen opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön kanssa sekä muut periaatteellisesti tärkeät sopimukset ja antaa yliopiston lausunnot periaatteellisesti tärkeissä asioissa. Yliopiston hallitus valitsee kautensa aikana rehtorin. Yliopistolain mukaan yliopiston hallituksen on huolellisesti toimien edistettävä yliopiston etua.
Helsingin yliopiston hallitukseen valitaan kaksi opiskelijajäsentä, joista päätöksen tekee Helsingin yliopiston ylioppilaskunta. Hallituksen opiskelijajäsenten toimikausi on kaksi vuotta ajalla 1.1.2018–31.12.2019.

Apply for the position of a student member in the Board of the University of Helsinki!
The Board of the University of Helsinki is the University’s supreme decision-making body. The Board decides on the University’s strategy, operative and financial planning, budget, regulations, operational structure, the number of students accepted to the university, is responsible for the university’s asset management and use, organises accounting and asset management monitoring, approves a performance agreement with the Ministry of Education, and other agreements that are significant for the university, and issues statements on major university-related matters of principle. During its term the Board elects the rector. In accordance with the Universities Act, the University Board must carefully operate to promote interests of the University.
Two student members will be elected for the Board of the University of Helsinki, and the decision is made by the Student Union of the University of Helsinki. The term of office of the student members in administration is two years, 1.1.2018–31.12.2019.
